07-3:16 But Ehud made him a dagger which had two edges, of a cubit length; and he
did gird it under his raiment upon his right thigh.
07-3:21 And Ehud put forth his left hand,
and took the dagger from his right thigh, and
thrust it into his belly:
07-3:22 And the haft also went in after the
blade; and the fat closed upon the blade, so that he could not draw the dagger out of his belly; and the dirt came out.

07-16:23 Then
the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great
sacrifice unto Dagon their
god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy
into our hand.
09-5:2 When
the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of Dagon, and set it by Dagon.
09-5:3 And
when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen
upon his face to the earth before the ark of the LORD. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place
again.
09-5:4 And
when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen
upon his face to the ground before the ark of the LORD; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his
hands were cut off upon the
threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.
09-5:5 Therefore
neither the priests of Dagon, nor
any that come into Dagon’s house, tread on the threshold of Dagon in Ashdod unto this day.
09-5:7 And
when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so,
they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand
is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our
god.
13-10:10 And
they put his armour in the house of their gods, and fastened his head in the
temple of Dagon.

02-5:13 And
the taskmasters hasted them, saying,
Fulfil your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw.
02-5:19 And
the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, Ye shall not
minish ought from your bricks of your
daily task.
02-16:5 And
it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall
be twice as much as they gather daily.
04-4:16 And to the office of Eleazar the son
of Aaron the priest pertaineth the
oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily
meat offering, and the anointing oil, and
the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels
thereof.
04-28:24 After this manner ye shall offer daily, throughout the seven days, the meat of the
sacrifice made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD: it shall be offered
beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.
04-29:6 Beside the burnt offering of the
month, and his meat offering, and the daily
burnt offering, and his meat offering, and their drink offerings, according
unto their manner, for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.
07-16:16 And it came to pass, when she pressed
him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death;
12-25:30 And his allowance was a continual allowance given him of
the king, a daily rate for every day, all the
days of his life.
14-31:16 Beside their genealogy of males, from
three years old and upward, even unto
every one that entereth into the house of the LORD, his daily portion for their service in their charges according to their
courses;
15-3:4 They kept also the feast of
tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily
burnt offerings by number, according to the custom, as the duty of every day
required;
16-5:18 Now that which was prepared for
me daily was
one ox and six choice sheep; also
fowls were prepared for me, and once in ten days store of all sorts of wine:
yet for all this required not I the bread of the governor, because the bondage
was heavy upon this people.
17-3:4 Now it came to pass, when they
spake daily unto him, and he hearkened not unto
them, that they told Haman, to see whether Mordecai’s matters would stand: for
he had told them that he was a Jew.
19-13:2 How long shall I take counsel in my
soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?
19-42:10 As
with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where is thy God?
19-56:1 Be merciful unto me, O God: for man
would swallow me up; he fighting daily
oppresseth me.
19-56:2 Mine enemies would daily swallow me
up: for they be many that fight
against me, O thou most High.
19-61:8 So will I sing praise unto thy name
for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
19-68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with
benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
19-72:15 And he shall live, and to him shall
be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily
shall he be praised.
19-74:22 Arise, O God, plead thine own cause:
remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.
19-86:3 Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I
cry unto thee daily.
19-88:9 Mine eye mourneth by reason of
affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon thee,
I have stretched out my hands unto thee.
19-88:17 They came round about me daily like water; they compassed me about together.
20-8:30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before
him;
20-8:34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily
at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
23-58:2 Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that
did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me
the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.
24-7:25 Since the day that your fathers came
forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my
servants the prophets, daily rising up early and
sending them:
24-20:7 O LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I
was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me.
24-20:8 For since I spake, I cried out, I cried
violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me,
and a derision, daily.
24-37:21 Then Zedekiah the king commanded that
they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should
give him daily a piece of bread out of the
bakers’ street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah
remained in the court of the prison.
26-30:16 And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin
shall have great pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph shall have distresses daily.
26-45:23 And seven days of the feast he shall
prepare a burnt offering to the LORD, seven bullocks and seven rams without
blemish daily the seven days; and a kid of the
goats daily for
a sin offering.
26-46:13 Thou shalt daily
prepare a burnt offering unto the LORD of
a lamb of the first year without blemish: thou shalt prepare it every
morning.
27-1:5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king’s meat, and of the wine
which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they
might stand before the king.
27-8:11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host,
and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast
down.
27-8:12 And an host was given him against the daily
sacrifice by reason of transgression,
and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
27-8:13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and
another saint said unto that certain saint
which spake, How long shall be the
vision concerning the daily sacrifice,
and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the
host to be trodden under foot?
27-11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and
they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice,
and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
27-12:11 And from the time that the daily
sacrifice shall be taken away, and
the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
28-12:1 Ephraim feedeth on wind, and
followeth after the east wind: he daily increaseth
lies and desolation; and they do make a covenant with the Assyrians, and oil is
carried into Egypt.
40-6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.
40-26:55 In that same hour said Jesus to the
multitudes, Are ye come out as against a thief with swords and staves for to
take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the
temple, and ye laid no hold on me.
41-14:49 I was daily
with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be
fulfilled.
42-9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will
come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
42-11:3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
42-19:47 And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the
chief of the people sought to destroy him,
42-22:53 When I was daily
with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is
your hour, and the power of darkness.
44-2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking
bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of
heart,
44-2:47 Praising God, and having favour with
all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily
such as should be saved.
44-3:2 And a certain man lame from his
mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily
at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that
entered into the temple;
44-5:42 And daily
in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus
Christ.
44-6:1 And in those days, when the number of
the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against
the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.
44-16:5 And so were the churches established
in the faith, and increased in number daily.
44-17:11 These were more noble than those in
Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and
searched the scriptures daily, whether those
things were so.
44-17:17 Therefore disputed he in the
synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him.
44-19:9 But when divers were hardened, and
believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from
them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily
in the school of one Tyrannus.
46-15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I
have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
47-11:28 Beside those things that are without,
that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all
the churches.
58-3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be
hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
58-7:27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice,
first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when
he offered up himself.
58-10:11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same
sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
59-2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and
destitute of daily food,

01-49:20 Out of Asher his bread shall be fat, and he shall yield royal dainties.
19-141:4 Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works

20-23:3 Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are
deceitful meat.

18-33:20 So that his life abhorreth bread, and

10-18:18 Now Absalom in his lifetime had taken
and reared up for himself a pillar, which is

05-22:7 But

15-4:22 Take heed now that ye fail not to do
this: why should damage grow to the hurt of the
kings?
17-7:4 For we are sold, I and my people,

bondmen and bondwomen, I had held my tongue, although the enemy could not
countervail the king’s damage.

44-27:10 And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive

not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.
47-7:9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were

godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us
in nothing.

01-15:2 And Abram
said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward
of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?
10-8:5 And
when the Syrians of Damascus
came to succour Hadadezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and
twenty thousand men.
10-8:6 Then
David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought gifts. And the LORD
preserved David whithersoever he went.
11-11:24 And
he gathered men unto him, and became captain over a band, when David slew them of Zobah: and they went to Damascus, and dwelt therein, and
reigned in Damascus.
11-15:18 Then
Asa took all the silver and the gold that
were left in the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of
the king’s house, and delivered them into the hand of his servants: and king
Asa sent them to Benhadad, the son of Tabrimon, the son of Hezion, king of
Syria, that dwelt at Damascus,
saying,
11-19:15 And
the LORD said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest,
anoint Hazael to be king over Syria:
11-20:34 And
Benhadad said unto him, The cities,
which my father took from thy father, I will restore; and thou shalt make
streets for thee in Damascus, as
my father made in Samaria. Then said
Ahab, I will send thee away with this covenant. So he made a covenant with
him, and sent him away.
12-5:12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the
waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went
away in a rage.
12-8:7 And
Elisha came to Damascus;
and Benhadad the king of Syria was sick; and it was told him, saying, The man
of God is come hither.
12-8:9 So
Hazael went to meet him, and took a present with him, even of every good thing
of Damascus, forty camels’ burden, and
came and stood before him, and said, Thy son Benhadad king of Syria hath sent
me to thee, saying, Shall I recover of this disease?
12-14:28 Now
the rest of the acts of Jeroboam, and all that he did, and his might, how he
warred, and how he recovered Damascus, and Hamath, which belonged to Judah, for Israel, are they not written in the
book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
12-16:9 And
the king of Assyria hearkened unto him: for the king of Assyria went up against
Damascus, and took it, and carried the people of it captive to Kir, and
slew Rezin.
12-16:10 And
king Ahaz went to Damascus to
meet Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, and saw an altar that was at Damascus:
and king Ahaz sent to Urijah the priest the fashion of the altar, and the
pattern of it, according to all the workmanship thereof.
12-16:11 And
Urijah the priest built an altar according to all that king Ahaz had sent from Damascus: so Urijah the priest made
it against king Ahaz came from Damascus.
12-16:12 And
when the king was come from Damascus,
the king saw the altar: and the king approached to the altar, and offered
thereon.
13-18:5 And
when the Syrians of Damascus
came to help Hadarezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty
thousand men.
14-16:2 Then
Asa brought out silver and gold out of the treasures of the house of the LORD and
of the king’s house, and sent to Benhadad king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying,
14-24:23 And
it came to pass at the end of the year, that
the host of Syria came up against him: and they came to Judah and
Jerusalem, and destroyed all the princes of the people from among the people,
and sent all the spoil of them unto the king of Damascus.
14-28:5 Wherefore
the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they
smote him, and carried away a great multitude of them captives, and brought them to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of
the king of Israel, who smote him with a great slaughter.
14-28:23 For
he sacrificed unto the gods of Damascus, which smote him: and he said, Because the
gods of the kings of Syria help them, therefore
will I sacrifice to them, that they may help me. But they were the ruin of
him, and of all Israel.
22-7:4 Thy neck
is as a tower of ivory; thine eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon, by the
gate of Bathrabbim: thy nose is as
the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus.
23-7:8 For
the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be
broken, that it be not a people.
23-8:4 For
before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother, the
riches of Damascus and
the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the king of Assyria.
23-10:9 Is not Calno as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as Damascus?
23-17:1 The
burden of Damascus.
Behold, Damascus is
taken away from being a city, and it shall
be a ruinous heap.
23-17:3 The
fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria:
they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts.
24-49:23 Concerning
Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and
Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be
quiet.
24-49:24 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath
seized on her: anguish and sorrows
have taken her, as a woman in travail.
24-49:27 And
I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.
26-27:18 Damascus was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for
the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.
26-47:16 Hamath,
Berothah, Sibraim, which is between
the border of Damascus and
the border of Hamath; Hazarhatticon, which is
by the coast of Hauran.
26-47:17 And
the border from the sea shall be Hazarenan, the border of Damascus, and the north northward,
and the border of Hamath. And this is the
north side.
26-47:18 And
the east side ye shall measure from Hauran, and from Damascus, and from Gilead, and from the land of Israel by Jordan, from the border unto the east
sea. And this is the east side.
26-48:1 Now
these are the names of the tribes.
From the north end to the coast of the way of Hethlon, as one goeth to Hamath,
Hazarenan, the border of Damascus
northward, to the coast of Hamath; for these are his sides east and west; a portion for Dan.
30-1:3 Thus
saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they
have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:
30-1:5 I
will break also the bar of Damascus,
and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the
sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity
unto Kir, saith the LORD.
30-3:12 Thus
saith the LORD; As the shepherd taketh out of the mouth of the lion two legs,
or a piece of an ear; so shall the children of Israel be taken out that dwell
in Samaria in the corner of a bed, and in Damascus in a
couch.
30-5:27 Therefore
will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name is The God of hosts.
38-9:1 The
burden of the word of the LORD in the land of Hadrach, and Damascus shall be the rest thereof: when the eyes of man, as of all the
tribes of Israel, shall be toward the
LORD.
44-9:2 And
desired of him letters to Damascus to the
synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women,
he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
44-9:3 And as
he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and
suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
44-9:8 And Saul
arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they
led him by the hand, and brought him into
Damascus.
44-9:10 And there
was a certain disciple at Damascus,
named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said,
Behold, I am here, Lord.
44-9:19 And when
he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the
disciples which were at Damascus.
44-9:22 But Saul
increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very
Christ.
44-9:27 But
Barnabas took him, and brought him to
the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and
that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.
44-22:5 As also
the high priest doth bear me witness, and all the estate of the elders: from
whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damascus, to bring them which were
there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished.
44-22:6 And it
came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there
shone from heaven a great light round about me.
44-22:10 And I
said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be
told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do.
44-22:11 And when I
could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that
were with me, I came into Damascus.
44-26:12 Whereupon
as I went to Damascus
with authority and commission from the chief priests,
44-26:20 But shewed
first unto them of Damascus,
and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should
repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.
47-11:32 In
Damascus the governor under Aretas
the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend
me:
48-1:17 Neither
went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia,
and returned again unto Damascus.

40-23:14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees,

serpents, ye generation of
vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
41-3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against

41-12:40 Which devour widows’ houses, and for

a shew make long prayers: the same shall receive greater damnation.
43-5:29 And shall come forth; they that have
done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the
resurrection of damnation.
45-3:8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we
say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation
is just.
45-13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the
power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to
themselves damnation.
46-11:29 For he that eateth and drinketh
unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to
himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

because they have cast off their first faith.
61-2:3 And through covetousness shall they
with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time
lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth
not.

41-16:16 He that believeth and is baptized
shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
45-14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
53-2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in
unrighteousness.

01-24:14 And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I
pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy
camels drink also: let the same be she
that thou hast appointed for thy
servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my
master.
01-24:16 And the damsel
was very fair to look upon, a virgin,
neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her
pitcher, and came up.
01-24:28 And the damsel
ran, and told them of her mother’s
house these things.
01-24:55 And her brother and her mother said,
Let the damsel abide with us a few days, at the least ten; after that
she shall go.
01-24:57 And
they said, We will call the damsel, and enquire
at her mouth.
01-34:3 And his soul clave unto Dinah the
daughter of Jacob, and he loved the damsel, and
spake kindly unto the damsel.
01-34:4 And Shechem spake unto his father
Hamor, saying, Get me this damsel to wife.
01-34:12 Ask me never so much dowry and gift,
and I will give according as ye shall say unto me: but give me the damsel to wife.
05-22:15 Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel’s virginity
unto the elders of the city in the gate:
05-22:19 And they shall amerce him in an
hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a
virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his
days.
05-22:20 But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found
for the damsel:
05-22:21 Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of
her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought
folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father’s house: so shalt thou put
evil away from among you.
05-22:23 If a damsel
that is a virgin be betrothed unto an
husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;
05-22:24 Then ye shall bring them both out
unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die;
the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because
he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among
you.
05-22:25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie
with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die:
05-22:26 But unto the damsel
thou shalt do nothing; there is in
the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour,
and slayeth him, even so is this
matter:
05-22:27 For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there
was none to save her.
05-22:28 If a man find a damsel that is a
virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they
be found;
07-5:30 Have they not sped? have they not divided the prey; to every man a damsel or two;
to Sisera a prey of divers colours, a prey of divers colours of needlework, of
divers colours of needlework on both sides, meet
for the necks of them that take the
spoil?
07-19:3 And her husband arose, and went
after her, to speak friendly unto her, and
to bring her again, having his servant with him, and a couple of asses: and
she brought him into her father’s house: and when the father of the damsel saw him, he rejoiced to meet him.
08-2:5 Then said Boaz unto his servant that
was set over the reapers, Whose damsel is this?
08-2:6 And the servant that was set over
the reapers answered and said, It is the
Moabitish damsel that came back with Naomi out
of the country of Moab:
11-1:3 So they sought for a fair damsel throughout all the coasts of Israel, and found
Abishag a Shunammite, and brought her to the king.
11-1:4 And the damsel
was very fair, and cherished the
king, and ministered to him: but the king knew her not.

charger, and given to the damsel: and she
brought it to her mother.
40-26:69 Now Peter sat without in the palace:
and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also
wast with Jesus of Galilee.
41-5:39 And when he was come in, he saith
unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel
is not dead, but sleepeth.
41-5:40 And they laughed him to scorn. But
when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in
where the damsel was lying.
41-5:41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi;
which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto
thee, arise.
41-5:42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were
astonished with a great astonishment.
41-6:22 And when the daughter of the said
Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the
king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever
thou wilt, and I will give it thee.
41-6:28 And brought his head in a charger,
and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother.
43-18:17 Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou
also one of this man’s disciples? He
saith, I am not.

the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.
44-16:16 And it came to pass, as we went to
prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit
of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:

05-22:15 Then shall the father of the damsel,
and her mother, take and bring forth the
tokens of the damsel’s virginity unto the
elders of the city in the gate:
05-22:16 And the damsel’s
father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and
he hateth her;
05-22:29 Then the man that lay with her shall
give unto the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his
wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.
07-19:4 And his father in law, the damsel’s father, retained him; and he abode with him
three days: so they did eat and drink, and lodged there.
07-19:5 And it came to pass on the fourth
day, when they arose early in the morning, that he rose up to depart: and the damsel’s father said unto his son in law, Comfort
thine heart with a morsel of bread, and afterward go your way.
07-19:6 And they sat down, and did eat and
drink both of them together: for the damsel’s
father had said unto the man, Be content, I pray thee, and tarry all night, and
let thine heart be merry.
07-19:8 And he arose early in the morning on
the fifth day to depart: and the damsel’s father
said, Comfort thine heart, I pray thee. And they tarried until afternoon, and
they did eat both of them.
07-19:9 And when the man rose up to depart,
he, and his concubine, and his servant, his father in law, the damsel’s father, said unto him, Behold, now the day
draweth toward evening, I pray you tarry all night: behold, the day groweth to
an end, lodge here, that thine heart may be merry; and to morrow get you early
on your way, that thou mayest go home.
