04-33:12 And they
took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.
04-33:13 And they
departed from Dophkah, and
encamped in Alush.

06-11:2 And to
the kings that were on the north of
the mountains, and of the plains south of Chinneroth, and in the valley, and in
the borders of Dor on the
west,
06-12:23 The king
of Dor in the coast of Dor, one;
the king of the nations of Gilgal, one;
06-17:11 And Manasseh
had in Issachar and in Asher Bethshean and her towns, and Ibleam and her towns,
and the inhabitants of Dor and her
towns, and the inhabitants of Endor and her towns, and the inhabitants of
Taanach and her towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and her towns, even three countries.
07-1:27 Neither
did Manasseh drive out the inhabitants of
Bethshean and her towns, nor Taanach and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, nor the
inhabitants of Ibleam and her towns, nor the inhabitants of Megiddo and her
towns: but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.
11-4:11 The
son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife:
13-7:29 And
by the borders of the children of Manasseh, Bethshean and her towns, Taanach
and her towns, Megiddo and her towns, Dor and her towns. In these dwelt the children of
Joseph the son of Israel.

44-9:36 Now there
was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is
called Dorcas: this
woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
44-9:39 Then
Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the
upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats
and garments which Dorcas made,
while she was with them.

01-GENESIS
01-32:29 And
Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said,
Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name?
And he blessed him there.
01-44:4 And when they were gone out of the city,
and not yet far off, Joseph said unto his steward, Up, follow after the
men; and when thou dost overtake them, say unto
them, Wherefore have ye rewarded evil for good?
05-9:5 Not
for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the
wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before
thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers,
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
05-24:10 When
thou dost lend thy brother any thing, thou shalt
not go into his house to fetch his pledge.
05-24:11 Thou
shalt stand abroad, and the man to whom thou dost
lend shall bring out the pledge abroad unto thee.
07-14:16 And
Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost
but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children
of my people, and hast not told it me.
And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it thee?
09-24:14 After
whom is the king of Israel come out? after whom dost
thou pursue? after a dead dog, after a flea.
09-28:16 Then
said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me,
seeing the LORD is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy?
11-2:22 And
king Solomon answered and said unto his mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? ask for him the
kingdom also; for he is mine elder brother;
even for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.
11-21:7 And
Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now
govern the kingdom of Israel? arise, and eat
bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth
the Jezreelite.
12-18:20 Thou
sayest, (but they are but vain
words), I have counsel and strength
for the war. Now on whom dost thou trust, that
thou rebellest against me?
14-6:26 When
the heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against
thee; yet if they pray toward this
place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou dost afflict them;
16-2:4 Then
the king said unto me, For what dost thou make
request? So I prayed to the God of heaven.
18-2:9 Then
said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain
thine integrity? curse God, and die.
18-7:21 And
why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and
take away mine iniquity? for now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek
me in the morning, but I shall not be.
18-10:8 Thine
hands have made me and fashioned me together round about; yet thou dost destroy me.
18-14:3 And
dost thou open thine eyes upon such an one, and
bringest me into judgment with thee?
18-14:16 For
now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch
over my sin?
18-15:8 Hast
thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou
restrain wisdom to thyself?
18-30:20 I
cry unto thee, and thou dost not hear me: I
stand up, and thou regardest me not.
18-33:13 Why
dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not
account of any of his matters.
18-37:15 Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the
light of his cloud to shine?
18-37:16 Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the
wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
19-39:11 When
thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity,
thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah.
19-43:2 For
thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of
the oppression of the enemy?
19-44:12 Thou
sellest thy people for nought, and dost not
increase thy wealth by their price.
19-99:4 The
king’s strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish
equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
20-4:8 Exalt
her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.
21-7:10 Say
not thou, What is the cause that the
former days were better than these? for thou dost
not enquire wisely concerning this.
22-5:9 What
is thy beloved more than another beloved, O thou fairest among
women? what is thy beloved more than another beloved, that thou dost so charge us?
23-26:7 The
way of the just is uprightness: thou,
most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.
23-36:5 I
say, sayest thou, (but they are but vain words) I have counsel and strength for war: now
on whom dost thou trust, that thou rebellest
against me?
24-32:3 For
Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Wherefore dost thou prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD,
Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall
take it;
24-40:14 And
said unto him, Dost thou certainly know that
Baalis the king of the Ammonites hath sent Ishmael the son of Nethaniah to slay
thee? But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam believed them not.
24-48:18 Thou
daughter that dost inhabit Dibon, come down from
thy glory, and sit in thirst; for the
spoiler of Moab shall come upon thee, and
he shall destroy thy strong holds.
25-5:20 Wherefore
dost thou forget us for ever, and forsake us so long time?
26-2:6 And
thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words,
though briers and thorns be with
thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be
not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
26-32:19 Whom
dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou
laid with the uncircumcised.
26-33:8 When
I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou
shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn
the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall
die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
33-4:9 Now
why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy
counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.
35-1:3 Why
dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and
violence are before me: and there are
that raise up strife and contention.
42-10:40 But
Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to
serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
42-23:40 But
the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost
not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
43-6:30 They
said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and
believe thee? what dost thou work?
43-9:34 They
answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.
43-9:35 Jesus
heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
43-10:24 Then
came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ,
tell us plainly.
43-13:6 Then
cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
45-2:21 Thou
therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that
preachest a man should not steal, dost thou
steal?
45-2:22 Thou
that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost
thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost
thou commit sacrilege?
45-2:27 And
shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee,
who by the letter and circumcision dost
transgress the law?
45-14:10 But
why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all
stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
46-4:7 For
who maketh thee to differ from another? and
what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost
thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?
66-6:10 And they cried with a loud voice,
saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost
thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

24-50:36 A
sword is upon the liars; and they
shall dote: a sword is upon her mighty men; and they shall be dismayed.

26-EZEKIEL
26-23:5 And
Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted
on her lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbours,
26-23:7 Thus
she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them that were the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself.
26-23:9 Wherefore
I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the
Assyrians, upon whom she doted.
26-23:12 She
doted upon the Assyrians her neighbours, captains and rulers clothed most gorgeously, horsemen
riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.
26-23:16 And
as soon as she saw them with her eyes, she doted
upon them, and sent messengers unto them into Chaldea.
26-23:20 For
she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose
issue is like the issue of horses.

01-GENESIS
01-3:5 For
God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then
your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
01-27:42 And
these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah: and she sent and called
Jacob her younger son, and said unto him, Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching
thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee.
01-45:3 And
Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph;
doth my father yet live? And his brethren could
not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence.
02-11:7 But
against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against
man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth
put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.
02-31:13 Speak
thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep:
for it is a sign between me and you
throughout your generations; that ye may
know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
02-32:11 And
Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth
thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the
land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?
03-11:31 These
are unclean to you among all that
creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be
dead, shall be unclean until the even.
03-11:32 And
upon whatsoever any of them, when
they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean;
whether it be any vessel of wood, or
raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work
is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so
it shall be cleansed.
03-25:16 According
to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according
to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish the price of it: for according to the number of the years of the fruits doth he sell unto thee.
04-5:21 Then
the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall
say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people,
when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and
thy belly to swell;
04-16:7 And
put fire therein, and put incense in them before the LORD to morrow: and it
shall be that the man whom the LORD doth choose, he shall
be holy: ye take too much upon
you, ye sons of Levi.
04-36:6 This
is the thing which the LORD doth command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad,
saying, Let them marry to whom they think best; only to the family of the tribe
of their father shall they marry.
05-1:20 And
I said unto you, Ye are come unto the mountain of the Amorites, which the LORD
our God doth give unto us.
05-1:25 And
they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word
again, and said, It is a good land which
the LORD our God doth give us.
05-1:31 And
in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee, as
a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye
went, until ye came into this place.
05-5:24 And
ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness,
and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day
that God doth talk with man, and he liveth.
05-8:3 And
he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which
thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know
that man doth not live by bread only, but by
every word that proceedeth out of the
mouth of the LORD doth man live.
05-9:4 Speak
not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from
before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to
possess this land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.
05-9:5 Not
for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to
possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may
perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
05-10:12 And
now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require
of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love
him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
05-10:18 He
doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and
widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.
05-16:19 Thou
shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift:
for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert
the words of the righteous.
05-18:12 For
all that do these things are an
abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
05-20:16 But
of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth
give thee for an inheritance, thou
shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:
05-31:6 Be
strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy
God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
05-31:8 And
the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not
fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
06-1:18 Whosoever
he be that doth
rebel against thy commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that
thou commandest him, he shall be put to death: only be strong and of a good
courage.
06-20:4 And
when he that doth flee unto one of those cities
shall stand at the entering of the gate of the city, and shall declare his
cause in the ears of the elders of that city, they shall take him into the city
unto them, and give him a place, that he may dwell among them.
07-4:20 Again
he said unto her, Stand in the door of the tent, and it shall be, when any man doth come and enquire of thee, and say, Is there any
man here? that thou shalt say, No.
08-3:11 And
now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all
the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.
09-9:13 As
soon as ye be come into the city, ye shall straightway find him, before he go
up to the high place to eat: for the people will not eat until he come, because
he doth bless the sacrifice; and afterwards they eat that be bidden.
Now therefore get you up; for about this time ye shall find him.
09-23:19 Then
came up the Ziphites to Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth
not David hide himself with us in strong holds in the wood, in the hill of
Hachilah, which is on the south of
Jeshimon?
09-26:1 And
the Ziphites came unto Saul to Gibeah, saying, Doth
not David hide himself in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon?
09-26:18 And
he said, Wherefore doth my lord thus pursue
after his servant? for what have I done? or what evil is in mine hand?
09-26:20 Now
therefore, let not my blood fall to the earth before the face of the LORD: for
the king of Israel is come out to seek a flea, as when one doth hunt a partridge in the mountains.
10-10:3 And
the princes of the children of Ammon said unto Hanun their lord, Thinkest thou
that David doth honour thy father, that he hath
sent comforters unto thee? hath not David rather
sent his servants unto thee, to search the city, and to spy it out, and to
overthrow it?
10-14:13 And
the woman said, Wherefore then hast thou thought such a thing against the
people of God? for the king doth speak this
thing as one which is faulty, in that the king doth
not fetch home again his banished.
10-14:14 For
we must needs die, and are as water
spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again; neither doth God respect any
person: yet doth he devise means, that his
banished be not expelled from him.
10-19:8 Then
the king arose, and sat in the gate. And they told unto all the people, saying,
Behold, the king doth sit in the gate. And all
the people came before the king: for Israel had fled every man to his tent.
10-19:20 For
thy servant doth know that I have sinned:
therefore, behold, I am come the first this day of all the house of Joseph to
go down to meet my lord the king.
10-24:3 And
Joab said unto the king, Now the LORD thy God add unto the people, how many
soever they be, an hundredfold, and that the eyes of my lord the king may see it: but why doth
my lord the king delight in this thing?
10-24:24 And
the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto
the LORD my God of that which doth cost me
nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of
silver.
11-1:11 Wherefore
Nathan spake unto Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, saying, Hast thou not heard
that Adonijah the son of Haggith doth reign, and
David our lord knoweth it not?
11-1:13 Go
and get thee in unto king David, and say unto him, Didst not thou, my lord, O
king, swear unto thine handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign
after me, and he shall sit upon my throne? why then doth
Adonijah reign?
11-22:8 And
the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There
is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the
LORD: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy
good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.
12-2:15 And
when the sons of the prophets which were to
view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and
bowed themselves to the ground before him.
12-5:7 And
it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his
clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill
and to make alive, that this man doth send unto
me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how
he seeketh a quarrel against me.
13-19:3 But
the princes of the children of Ammon said to Hanun, Thinkest thou that David doth honour thy father, that he hath sent comforters
unto thee? are not his servants come unto thee for to search, and to overthrow,
and to spy out the land?
13-21:3 And
Joab answered, The LORD make his people an hundred times so many more as they be: but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord’s servants? why
then doth my lord require this thing? why will
he be a cause of trespass to Israel?
14-6:33 Then
hear thou from the heavens, even from
thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee
for; that all people of the earth may know thy name, and fear thee, as doth thy
people Israel, and may know that this house which I have built is called by thy
name.
14-32:11 Doth not Hezekiah persuade you to give over yourselves
to die by famine and by thirst, saying, The LORD our God shall deliver us out
of the hand of the king of Assyria?
18-1:9 Then
Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear
God for nought?
18-4:21 Doth not their excellency which is in them go away? they die, even without wisdom.
18-5:6 Although
affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth
trouble spring out of the ground;
18-6:5 Doth the wild ass bray when he hath grass? or loweth
the ox over his fodder?
18-6:25 How
forcible are right words! but what doth your
arguing reprove?
18-8:3 Doth God pervert judgment? or doth
the Almighty pervert justice?
18-12:11 Doth not the ear try words? and the mouth taste his
meat?
18-15:12 Why
doth thine heart carry thee away? and what do
thy eyes wink at,
18-16:13 His
archers compass me round about, he cleaveth my reins asunder, and doth not spare; he poureth out my gall upon the
ground.
18-17:2 Are there not mockers with me? and doth not mine eye continue in their provocation?
18-22:13 And
thou sayest, How doth God know? can he judge
through the dark cloud?
18-23:9 On
the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot
behold him: he hideth himself on the
right hand, that I cannot see him:
18-24:19 Drought
and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those
which have sinned.
18-25:3 Is
there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth
not his light arise?
18-31:4 Doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps?
18-35:16 Therefore
doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth
words without knowledge.
18-36:7 He
withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.
18-39:26 Doth the hawk fly by thy wisdom, and stretch her wings toward the south?
18-39:27 Doth the eagle mount up at thy command, and make her
nest on high?
18-41:18 By
his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
19-1:2 But
his delight is in the law of the
LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and
night.
19-10:2 The
wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the
devices that they have imagined.
19-10:8 He
sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set
against the poor.
19-10:9 He
lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the
poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth
him into his net.
19-10:13 Wherefore
doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his
heart, Thou wilt not require it.
19-11:7 For
the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
19-29:9 The
voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and
in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.
19-41:11 By
this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth
not triumph over me.
19-54:title To the chief Musician on Neginoth,
Maschil, A Psalm of David, when the
Ziphims came and said to Saul, Doth not David
hide himself with us?
19-59:7 Behold,
they belch out with their mouth: swords are
in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?
19-68:33 To
him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send
out his voice, and that a mighty
voice.
19-73:11 And
they say, How doth God know? and is there
knowledge in the most High?
19-74:1 O
God, why hast thou cast us off for
ever? why doth
thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
19-77:8 Is
his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?
19-80:13 The
boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild
beast of the field doth devour it.
19-92:6 A
brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool
understand this.
19-119:129 PE.
Thy testimonies are wonderful:
therefore doth my soul keep them.
19-130:5 I
wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his
word do I hope.
19-147:2 The
LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth
together the outcasts of Israel.
20-6:16 These
six things doth
the LORD hate: yea, seven are an
abomination unto him:
20-8:1 Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her
voice?
20-14:10 The
heart knoweth his own bitterness; and a stranger doth
not intermeddle with his joy.
20-22:5 Thorns
and snares are in the way of the froward: he that doth
keep his soul shall be far from them.
20-24:12 If
thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he
that pondereth the heart consider it? and
he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he
render to every man according to his
works?
20-25:23 The
north wind driveth away rain: so doth an angry countenance a backbiting tongue.
20-26:14 As the door turneth upon his hinges, so doth the
slothful upon his bed.
20-27:9 Ointment
and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man’s friend by hearty
counsel.
20-27:24 For
riches are not for ever: and doth the crown endure
to every generation?
20-29:6 In
the transgression of an evil man there is
a snare: but the righteous doth sing and
rejoice.
20-30:11 There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.
20-31:11 The
heart of her husband doth safely trust in her,
so that he shall have no need of spoil.
21-10:1 Dead
flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: so doth a
little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour.
22-2:6 His
left hand is under my head, and his
right hand doth embrace me.
23-1:3 The
ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.
23-1:23 Thy
princes are rebellious, and companions
of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not
the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the
widow come unto them.
23-3:1 For,
behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take
away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of
bread, and the whole stay of water.
23-3:9 The
shew of their countenance doth witness against
them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
23-10:7 Howbeit
he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think
so; but it is in his heart to destroy
and cut off nations not a few.
23-28:24 Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?
23-28:25 When
he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not
cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal
wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place?
23-28:26 For
his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth
teach him.
23-30:33 For
Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for
the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep
and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the
LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle
it.
23-42:11 Let
the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that
Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of
the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.
23-44:14 He
heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth
for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it.
23-52:6 Therefore
my people shall know my name: therefore they
shall know in that day that I am he
that doth speak: behold, it is I.
23-59:9 Therefore
is judgment far from us, neither doth justice
overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness.
24-2:11 Hath
a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have
changed their glory for that which doth not profit.
24-10:7 Who
would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth
it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.
24-12:1 Righteous
art thou, O LORD, when I plead with
thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments:
Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal
very treacherously?
24-14:10 Thus
saith the LORD unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not
refrained their feet, therefore the LORD doth
not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins.
24-15:10 Woe
is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of
contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent
to me on usury; yet every one of them
doth curse me.
24-23:14 I
have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit
adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that
none doth return from his wickedness: they are
all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
24-30:6 Ask
ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child?
wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in
travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
24-31:10 Hear
the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather
him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.
24-49:1 Concerning
the Ammonites, thus saith the LORD; Hath Israel no sons? hath he no heir? why then doth
their king inherit Gad, and his people dwell in his cities?
24-51:43 Her
cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man
dwelleth, neither doth any son of man pass thereby.
25-1:1 How
doth the city sit solitary, that was full of people! how is
she become as a widow! she that was great
among the nations, and princess among
the provinces, how is she become
tributary!
25-3:33 For
he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the
children of men.
25-3:39 Wherefore
doth a living man complain, a man for the
punishment of his sins?
25-5:8 Servants
have ruled over us: there is none
that doth deliver us out of their hand.
26-3:20 Again,
When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity,
and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given
him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done
shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
26-3:21 Nevertheless
if thou warn the righteous man, that
the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he
shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
26-18:19 Yet
say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity
of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath
done them, he shall surely live.
26-20:49 Then
said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not
speak parables?
28-4:14 I
will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when
they commit adultery: for themselves are separated with whores, and they
sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people that doth not understand shall fall.
28-5:5 And
the pride of Israel doth testify to his face:
therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity; Judah also shall
fall with them.
33-6:8 He
hath shewed thee, O man, what is good;
and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to
do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
35-1:4 Therefore
the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth:
for the wicked doth compass about the righteous;
therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.
36-3:5 The
just LORD is in the midst thereof; he
will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring
his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.
40-6:19 Lay
not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and
steal:
40-6:20 But
lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through
nor steal:
40-12:24 But
when the Pharisees heard it, they
said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince
of the devils.
40-17:24 And
when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
40-18:12 How
think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into
the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
40-19:9 And
I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth
adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth
commit adultery.
40-22:43 He
saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit
call him Lord, saying,
40-24:42 Watch
therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth
come.
40-26:46 Rise,
let us be going: behold, he is at hand that doth
betray me.
41-2:7 Why
doth this man
thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?
41-2:22 And
no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the
bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.
41-8:12 And
he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth
this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign
be given unto this generation.
42-1:46 And
Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,
42-6:43 For
a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth
a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
42-11:36 If
thy whole body therefore be full of
light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the
bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
42-13:15 The
Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite,
doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose
his ox or his ass from the stall, and
lead him away to watering?
42-13:34 O
Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are
sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen
doth
gather her brood under her wings,
and ye would not!
42-14:27 And
whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come
after me, cannot be my disciple.
42-15:4 What
man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness,
and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
42-15:8 Either
what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek
diligently till she find it?
42-17:9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things
that were commanded him? I trow not.
42-22:26 But
ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the
younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth
serve.
43-2:10 And
saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set
forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until
now.
43-6:61 When
Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
43-7:51 Doth our law judge any
man, before it hear him, and know what he doeth?
43-9:19 And
they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who ye say was born blind? how then doth he now see?
43-10:17 Therefore
doth my Father love me, because I lay down my
life, that I might take it again.
44-4:10 Be
it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of
Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth
this man stand here before you whole.
44-8:36 And
as they went on their way, they came
unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me
to be baptized?
44-22:5 As
also the high priest doth bear me witness, and
all the estate of the elders: from whom also I received letters unto the
brethren, and went to Damascus, to bring them which were there bound unto
Jerusalem, for to be punished.
44-26:24 And
as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art
beside thyself; much learning doth make thee
mad.
45-8:24 For
we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth,
why doth he yet hope for?
45-9:19 Thou
wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find
fault? For who hath resisted his will?
45-14:6 He
that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto
the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it.
He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that
eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
46-9:9 For
it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox
that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care
for oxen?
46-11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man
have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
46-13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own,
is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
46-15:50 Now
this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God;
neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
47-1:10 Who
delivered us from so great a death, and doth
deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;
47-3:9 For
if the ministration of condemnation be glory,
much more doth the ministration of righteousness
exceed in glory.
49-5:13 But
all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
51-1:6 Which
is come unto you, as it is in all the
world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in
truth:
52-2:11 As
ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father
doth his
children,
53-2:7 For
the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only
he who now letteth will let, until he
be taken out of the way.
55-2:17 And
their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is
Hymenaeus and Philetus;
58-1:11 They
shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
58-12:1 Wherefore
seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us
lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth
so easily beset us, and let us run
with patience the race that is set before us,
59-2:14 What
doth it profit,
my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save
him?
59-2:16 And
one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things
which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
59-3:11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?
59-5:6 Ye
have condemned and killed the just; and he doth
not resist you.
60-3:21 The
like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the
filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the
resurrection of Jesus Christ:
60-5:13 The
church that is at Babylon, elected
together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus
my son.
62-3:2 Beloved,
now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet
appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be
like him; for we shall see him as he is.
62-3:9 Whosoever
is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed
remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
64-1:10 Wherefore,
if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with
malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth
he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.
66-19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a
white horse; and he that sat upon him was
called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth
judge and make war.
